Cookie Policy
Last Updated: 25 June 2026
1. What This Policy Covers
This Cookie Policy explains how SHROOMSS (operated by TwoFrogs) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on cookshrooms.com. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which describes in full how we collect, use, and protect the personal data that tracking parameters help us attribute.
2. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit it. They allow the website to remember certain information about your visit. Some cookies are essential for the site to function; others help us understand how visitors arrive at the site so we can measure the effectiveness of our marketing.
3. First-Party Cookies We Set
SHROOMSS does not currently set any bespoke first-party cookies for analytics, personalisation, or user-preference tracking. The only cookies present on this website are those set automatically by the underlying infrastructure (Next.js / Vercel) as part of standard server-side rendering and deployment operations. These infrastructure cookies do not identify you personally and are not used by SHROOMSS for marketing or tracking purposes.
4. URL Tracking Parameters (UTM, gclid, fbclid)
While we do not set tracking cookies to follow you across sites, we do read URL parameters that may be appended to our links by advertising platforms or campaign tools when you click through to our site. These parameters are captured from the page URL at the moment you land on the site or submit a form; they are not stored in a cookie on your device.
The parameters we may read include:
- utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content — UTM parameters added by email platforms, social media posts, or campaign management tools to identify which marketing channel brought you to the site.
- gclid — a Google Ads click identifier appended automatically when you click a Google ad.
- fbclid — a Meta/Facebook click identifier appended when you click a link shared on Facebook or Instagram.
These values are included when you submit a form on our site so that we can attribute the submission to the correct marketing channel. For a full explanation of how this data is used and stored, see the “Information Collected Automatically” and “How We Share Your Information” sections of our Privacy Policy.
5. Third-Party Cookies
If you arrive at our website via a Google Ad or a Meta/Facebook ad, those platforms may have already set cookies on your device before you clicked through. Those cookies are governed by Google's and Meta's own privacy and cookie policies respectively; SHROOMSS does not control them and cannot remove them.
We do not embed third-party analytics scripts (such as Google Analytics) or social media widgets that would cause those services to set cookies on your device during a visit to this website.
6. Managing Cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- See which cookies are set and delete individual ones.
- Block all or certain types of cookies.
- Set your browser to notify you before a cookie is stored.
Because we do not set bespoke tracking cookies, blocking cookies in your browser will not affect your ability to use any core functionality on this website. Note that blocking infrastructure cookies may interfere with how the site loads or renders on some browsers.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example if we introduce new features that involve cookies. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will reflect when changes were most recently made.
